Sweep Picking - Stuart Bull Page Three

Still this lesson has some value if you have all the time in the world. Stuart obviously knows more than he is telling us. If you don't know your triads yet its way worth also boning up via a good guitar book. I say that again here because they don't give us a pamphlet or .PDF file to download.

Each string set has its triad which can be arpeggiated and have inversions to boot. Mostly you'll use the top three or four strings.

Start with your C-A-G-E-D chord shapes and you will have a reference. With this guitar lesson you will see in action several ways to sweep pick 3,4 and 6 string/note triads and arpeggios.

You will learn the neck positions from which riffs spring the I IV V positions mostly in E or Em. Will it leave you with questions? But of course.

As the guitar lesson progresses the sweeps that you are picking cross more strings and can start on any string so its trickier. Your supple wrist and fingers are key in these arpeggios he runs us through.

He uses the well-known unknown settings on his equipment.  Me personally I play 6 string arpeggios every day and I prefer minor but make an effort at major ones too.
