Two Handed Tapping - Stuart Bull Page Three

You have to pay attention. This taping business means building a callous slowly and methodically like a crawling king snake growing its new skin.

Only by keeping to your 10 minutes a day for 6 months schedule and thusly building finger strength will you attain fluency. Its obviously part a of a plan wherein we need to practice on regular basis and likely well worth it. Virtue is its own reward. Metronome mandatory.

I recommend this if you want to learn how to tap. You may have to take a few notes but its manageable and a good way to learn triad shapes too which leads to shredding and sweep picking

Stuart shows us some interesting advanced techniques in the later chapters. I think tapping is kind of what you make it really. Once you can articulate it properly you will be making up your own stuff.

I saw Kim Simmons from Savoy Brown two hand tapping all kinds of blues licks way back when. I have never seen or heard anyone since do that and will try to figure it out for my self. Tappings looks and sounds way cool I have to admit!
