Carl Verhayen ~ Intervallic Rock Page Three

Carl is a superb player and says he comes from a blues rock background and can certainly play that style when he wants to but is perhaps too accomplished to have any rough edges left to rock with.

He knows his own guitar business inside and out but would have made a much better guitar lesson had his .PDF file been more complete and the package marketing more indicative. There are several ways to play G Dorian most of which do not start on G note and Carl doesn't really show us even one way SLOWLY enough to go from there to enable us to make something out of it. Disappointingly flawed from a beginning guitar players view point. Pity too! But beginners have other choices better suited to their current needs. Those more advanced may love this fusion style guitar lesson.

Check out John Petrucci's Rock Discipline, Andy Aledort's Play like Randy Rhoades or Joe Stump's Chop Builder.
